OVERVIEW
Madina Institute is a dedicated centre of learning with both full-time and part-time facilities and outreach initiatives. While their Main Campus is in the heart of the Cape Town CBD, Madina Belgravia will serve as the community hub for many of the institute’s activities and offerings.
The Master Plan illustrated provides a framework for a phased project and as inspiration for funding initiatives.
The layout is developed around a collection of existing structures and will accommodate numerous activities and new types of spaces. The result is a complex plan that creates a unified identity for the Institute while maintaining a clear division and layering of public to private areas. The different buildings and elements are designed to be multi-functional with structured connections to allow for a rich, interactive learning experience.
CONSTRUCTION
The Phase 1 Renovation & Upgrading of the existing structures is ongoing as funds are available.
